You’re busy. Your list keeps growing, and it feels overwhelming. Sunnie helps you keep everything in one place, prioritize what is urgent or important, and focus on one task at a time.
You know what matters, but getting started feels impossible. If procrastination is your nemesis, Sunnie helps you break the cycle with timed focus sessions and visible progress.
You lose focus easily, bounce between tasks, and wonder where the day went. Whether it’s ADHD or an overwhelmed mind, Sunnie helps you tune out distractions and stay on track.

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. You work in focused sprints — typically 25 minutes — followed by a short break. Each sprint is called a "pomodoro" (Italian for tomato, after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo used as a student).
The approach is designed to overcome procrastination, reduce burnout, and turn overwhelming tasks into manageable chunks. Simple, battle-tested, and surprisingly effective.
Yes. Sunnie Focus Timer is completely free on Mac, PC, and the web. No account is required to use the web app.
Even though you can use the web version at timer.myflourish.ai/app, it's better to have the app available on your desktop for continuity.
The Mac desktop version is available on the Mac App Store and includes additional gamification features, such as customizing your pal and online body-doubling support ("Focus with friends"). If you have access to a Mac, we highly recommend downloading the Mac version for the full experience.
The PC version can be easily installed through progressive web app technology, so it works just like a regular app. It has its unique charm: a built-in calendar that lets you drag and drop tasks onto your schedule, plan your day directly within the app, and view your to-dos in a calendar format.
Body doubling means working alongside another person — in person or virtually — to stay focused and accountable. Simply having someone nearby, even silently, creates a gentle social commitment that makes it easier to start and stick with tasks.
It is especially helpful for people with ADHD or anyone who finds it hard to work alone.
In person: you and your body-double partner simply start Sunnie Focus Timer together and work side by side.
Remotely: use the Focus with friends feature to invite others to a shared focus room or join a public room. This feature is currently available on the Mac desktop version of Sunnie Focus Timer, so Mac users can pomodoro together from anywhere.
It reduces procrastination. Committing to just 25 minutes lowers the activation energy needed to start a task. Short, bounded intervals make it easier to begin and build momentum.
It harnesses the power of micro-breaks. Research shows that regular short breaks reduce fatigue and restore attention, making sustained productivity possible across a full day. A 2022 meta-analysis found micro-breaks significantly improve both wellbeing and performance.
It encourages monotasking. Multitasking decreases performance and increases cognitive switching costs. By dedicating each session to a single task, the Pomodoro Technique reduces those costs and improves efficiency. One thing at a time — turns out your brain prefers it that way.
Sunnie Focus Timer was designed by behavioral scientists with ADHD-friendly principles: short focus sprints, gentle prompts, time-blocked planning, and effective recovery breaks to reduce overwhelm.
